Invest in Education

Schools are underfunded, understaffed and crumbling, and the education system is on the brink of collapse.

Teacher recruitment and retention is at rock bottom, as funding cuts and years of below-inflation pay rises mean teachers’ salaries are no longer seen as competitive or attractive to young professionals. This is leading to larger classes and subjects taught by non-specialists, meaning children are losing out.

With a fully funded education service we would see huge benefits for pupils - the educational experience and outcomes for students would be much improved.

Together, as parents, teachers, head teachers and supporters we can pressure politicians to invest to create an education service fit for the 21st Century.
